Nursing

This program provides students with the theoretical, hands-on training and practical experience needed to pursue a rewarding career in the healthcare industry.

Practical Nursing

This program offers preparation in the knowledge and clinical skills for students to enter the Practical Nursing field. Practical Nursing experiences include theoretical instruction and clinical experience in medical, surgical, geriatric, community nursing and respective clinical rotations in both acute and long-term care situations.

Health Services Administration

The Health Services Administration program prepares the graduate for entry-level positions in various health care settings or organizations. In addition to classroom instruction, students will also participate in a monitored externship in a real-world heath care agency.

Phlebotomy Technician

The Phlebotomy Technician program is designed to provide students with knowledge about the health care delivery system; collection of materials and equipment; vein puncture and capillary puncture techniques; specimen transport and processing techniques; quality assurance and safety techniques; basic concepts of communications, and medical and legal implications of blood collection. Graduates of the program have found jobs at diagnostic laboratories, hospitals, and physicians’ offices.

ESL Intensive English Programs

The Intensive English Program (IEP) at FIC s a full-time or part-time English language program for degree-seeking or non-degree seeking students. Students will improve their English language skills, as well while gaining knowledge of American culture and the American college classroom.

EQUINE MANAGEMENT

The Equine Management degree program offers students a broad foundation of knowledge of the functions of the various segments of the equine science and equine industry.
