What Next After Graduation?

Applying for your nursing license is a process that you can’t rush! Even

After you’ve graduated from our program, we will be there for you as you apply for your nursing license from the Board of Nursing and apply for the NCLEX examination. We will walk you through every step, ensuring you know exactly what you need to do to get your license and take your exam.

 

What Are The Nursing Opportunities?

After you graduate from our nursing program, several different nursing opportunities are available to you.

You can work at a hospital or doctor’s office, an emergency room, a clinic, or a long-term care facility. You also can work as a traveling nurse or in research. There are also different nursing career options that you can focus on if you decide to go this route.

You can become a nurse practitioner, which would allow you to work more independently and treat patients with less supervision than other nurses. Or you could become a nurse anesthetist or a certified nurse-midwife, among others.

These nursing jobs require critical thinking skills and involve communicating effectively with patients and their families. If you love helping people and want to make them feel better when suffering or sick, this is your job!

We will hook you up with the nursing associations as soon as you graduate.

That’s right! By the time you earn your degree here, you’ll have some pretty awesome contacts in the nursing world.

It cannot be easy to know your options as a nursing student. You’ll want to make sure you have the right skills and experience to get the job you want, but where do you start?

We believe that networking is key to your success as a nursing student. That’s why we’ll connect you with local nursing associations while you’re still in school so that when you graduate, you will already have built meaningful professional relationships. These associations often advertise nursing job opportunities for their members, and they also provide resources like workshops, conferences, and community service projects.

 

Florida Nurses Association

There are so many opportunities for you after you graduate. You will have graduated from the top nursing program in the country, but you’ll also have the connections that come along with it.

The Florida Nurse Association will be able to connect you with various health facilities in the area that are already eager and excited to meet you!
