Program Schedule

The 60 credit hour program consists of didactic classroom lecture with riding and hands-on practicum at the world famous Al-Marah Arabian farm.

Career Pathways

Graduates are prepared to pursue a career as an assistant trainer, assistant farm manager, assistant breeding farm manager, riding instructor, retail sales position in pharmaceuticals, feed, clothing, tack and equipment, farm and ranch equipment and a host of other related positions.

With more than 20 years experience as a professional horsewoman, trainer, and riding instructor, Cathy Huddleston has honed her ability “to support both horses and humans in their growth and development.” As the Dean of the Al-Marah Equine School of Florida International College, Cathy is dedicated to supporting students reach their maximum potential and reach success in their career path.
